Performance Marketing LogoPerformance Marketing are a European based agency specialising in outbound B2B and multilingual telesales and telemarketing. Their clients are in technology, communications, publishing and many other business services.

Whilst they have been receiving high volumes of traffic to their website, it was mostly unqualified. They were spending a vast amount of time on redundant enquiries and wanted to achieve an equal parity between the volumes of traffic and qualified enquiries.

They found that whilst they ranked highly on certain keywords these were these were not really associated with their business and were attracting incorrect traffic types.

Strategy

 Searchcreations talked to Performance Marketing and agreed the
 following strategy:

    i)  Comprehensive keyword research exercise to identify keyword
        phrases
that were actually being used and were relevant for the
        telesales and telemarketing industry.


    ii)  A link management campaign was run to boost the importance of
        the perform.ie site and ensure that Performances' competitors were
        not getting links that they had missed out on.
 

    iii)  The overall site was further optimised with the new keywords
          and new content was added that increased the value to potential
          visitors

  Results

 
After a 6 month campaign of the 20 keywords initially focused on 11
   had a top 10 rating within Google, Yahoo and MSN. Performance
   Marketing has a higher number of qualified queries from almost 40%
   less traffic. This resulted in a higher query to quote ratio , 50% and a
   higher order to quote ratio, 30%.

 
Performance reduced the resource overhead to work through the
   majority of previously unqualified leads by now having less traffic but
   more qualified leads.
